
Satou Taiyou travels every day from Tokyo to the base of Mt. Fuji to collect water. He delivers this water to Tateno Shingo, his ex-boyfriend, who's recuperating at home from an illness. The two parted ways because it was too painful to remain in the relationship. After the two broke up, Shingo began dating a woman with the name Ueno Michiko. This is a story of two people who loved the same man, and were forced to come into terms with his passing.

Chihiro, a 35-year-old lesbian woman living in Aomori, always harbored romantic feelings towards her friend Sawako, with whom she lost touch over the years. After a period of eight years of no contact, Sawako returns to Aomori. The two reconnect as if no time had passed whatsover, spending irreplaceable moments together.

Set in Biei, Hokkaido, this drama follows the adventures of two best friends, Kaoru and Riko, who come into the town to learn farming. It depicts both their struggles and joys of being young farmers as they navigate their new life with changing seasons.

Together with their friends, they unravel the mystery behind the spices shortage and the rumor that spices could be a source of a miracle cure against the virus.
